I kept checking the delivery tracking over and over and it just never updated at all, so I had no idea where my order was, whether it had shipped, whether it was stuck somewhere, or whether anyone was even dealing with it, and I’m still sitting here waiting for it to show up.

I used bestinboating.com while browsing for some boat-related stuff, and overall it did what I needed. The pages loaded fine, and I was able to find most things eventually after poking around for a bit.

That said, something feels off with the layout. It’s a little cluttered, and a few of the menus weren’t as clear as I expected. The search could use some work too. It’s not a bad website, just not the easiest or smoothest one to use.

I ended up waiting way too long for my order to arrive. My sister even asked if it had gotten lost because it took so much longer than I expected. it was frustrating, and I don’t think I’ll be ordering again.

For me, the prices were alright. I found a few things cheaper than what I’d pay at local shops, but it wasn’t always a huge difference. Once shipping gets added, it can kind of wipe out the savings, which makes me think twice. I’d probably check here again if I was shopping around, but I wouldn’t automatically assume it’s the best deal every time.

I returned my order and I’m still waiting on the refund, which feels frustrating. Maybe I’m not being unreasonable here, but I feel like this shouldn’t take so long. Definitely not an experience I’d want to go through again.

I tried getting help with the warranty and just didn’t get anywhere. The replies were slow, and they never really offered a real fix. It was just frustrating overall.

I ordered a few small boat parts they feel solid. Not cheap or flimsy like some others I’ve picked up before, you know? Everything fit the way it was supposed to, and it seems like it should hold up for a while. I’m happy with the quality overall, seems like a good buy to me

I ordered a replacement impeller kit and a few fuel line fittings from Best in Boating, the parts info was decent. The part numbers seemed mostly accurate, and I did appreciate that they showed OEM cross-references instead of just throwing out some generic “fits many” description.

That said, I’m not trying to be picky, but the filter tool could definitely use some work. One hose barb was listed as 3/8, while the spec sheet said 5/16, so of course I emailed them before ordering because I didn’t want to deal with the hassle of getting the wrong size.
Shipping was about average, and the packaging was fine, nothing terrible but nothing especially impressive either. It wasn’t a bad experience, just not as smooth as it could’ve been, so I think 3 stars is fair...

When this arrived, the box was in rough shape, like it had been crushed or tossed around a lot during shipping. The packaging inside didn’t really do much to protect anything either, because some of the parts were just loose in the box instead of being secured or wrapped properly. For stuff that’s meant to go on a boat, I expected the packaging to be a lot sturdier, since boat parts usually aren’t exactly cheap and you don’t want them getting damaged before you even install them. It was just kind of disappointing to open it up and see everything rattling around like that

Overall I’m happy with it. It showed up as ordered and everything was fine, though the shipping felt a bit slower than I expected. Not a big issue, just something I noticed

I ended up finding most of what I needed in one place, which saved me some time. I’d probably give it 5 stars if a few more brands had been in stock, but... still a good experience overall.
